DAA SEATTLE

FULL-TIME POSITIONS

Marketing Coordinator | Full-Time
This position works closely with McConkey Auction Group (MAG) Marketing and is accountable for carrying out successful communication and implementation of DAA Seattle’s promotional and employee event planning, internal and external communication, and marketing collateral. The Marketing Coordinator also assists Sales, Administration and Human Resources teams with projects and Sale Day duties as needed. If you embrace a high-energy working environment and love working with people, we want to hear from you! Successful candidates will possess an associate’s degree or equivalent, excellent organizational skills, customer service, communication, and interpersonal and skills. The ability to work independently as well as organize and manage multiple priorities is a must. Relevant work experience is a plus. All candidates must also possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. This is a full-time position, Tues – Fri (32 hours per week).

Vehicle Processing Specialist | Full-Time | Multiple Positions Available
We are looking for someone to join our Vehicle processing team as a line tender. This position is responsible for movement of vehicles in out of the vehicle processing department. This position is one with growth opportunity to learn and take on additional responsibilities in the vehicle processing department. A valid driver’s license is required.

Detail Specialist | Full-Time | Evening Shift | Multiple Positions Available
DAA Seattle is currently recruiting flexible, responsible, hardworking individuals for the position of Detail Specialist. Successful candidates must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Driver’s License, a good driving record, a history of excellent work attendance, and the ability to stand for long periods of time. We are currently looking to fill positions for Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Lot Crew | Full-Time | Multiple Positions Available
DAA Seattle is looking for someone to assist us in organizing 600+ units each week. The job will include tracking, locating, moving and marking vehicles. You will be working on a team to accomplish the weekly goal of having all vehicles in the correct place and ready before the sale starts each Friday morning. We prefer candidates to be able to drive a manual transmission, and have the ability to stand for the majority of their shift.

Automotive Technician | Full-Time
DAA Seattle is looking for someone to join our mechanical department in an entry-level role. This person will be performing basic repairs on vehicles and assisting the other technicians as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with vehicles, can take directions and is interested in learning and growing in a shop setting.

PART-TIME POSITIONS

Transportation Driver | Part-Time
This position is responsible for moving vehicles both to and from the auction per customer request to local lots. The ideal candidate will be reliable, comfortable driving a variety of vehicles including manual transmission and work well in a team atmosphere. Schedule includes weekends off.

Upper Block Clerk | Sale Day Only | Multiple Positions Available
This position is responsible for quickly and accurately recording bids and bidder numbers for the auctioneer during the sale. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, work well and stay calm under pressure in a loud environment and be comfortable working with computers. Because of the unique nature of this position detailed training is provided. This position is one day a week on Fridays with a start time of 8:30 AM till the auction is done which is generally by 1:00 PM. A valid driver’s license and a three-year driving abstract will be required for this position.

Lower Block Clerk | Sale Day Only | Multiple Positions Available
This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while having our buyers sign for the purchase of their vehicles, making sure they are aware of their post-sale inspection options and ordering those inspections as they are requested in the computer system. The successful candidate will have customer service experience, be comfortable communicating in a loud environment and be comfortable working with computers. Because of the unique nature of this position detailed training is provided. This position is one day a week on Fridays with a start time of 8:30 AM till the auction is done which is generally by 1:00 PM. A valid driver’s license and a three-year driving abstract will be required for this position.

Sale Day Drivers | Sale Day Only | Multiple Positions Available
We are currently looking for drivers to safely move vehicles through the auction pavilion for bidding during our sale. Our auctions are held every Friday, and one Wednesday a month. We offer 600 to 1000 vehicles each week and more at our special promotional events. To accomplish our sale each week, we need a large number of employees to safely drive and park all types of vehicles in all types of weather. Although the driving distance isn’t long, the hazards of driving in close proximity to people and other vehicles requires focus and the ability to follow safety rules. Our safety meetings begin promptly at 8:00 AM every Friday, rain or shine, and you can expect to work for 3 to 6 hours. You must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
